Day 01: Arrival and Reception:- At Bagdogra airport to Darjeeling - 90Kms in 3hrs
We receive you on arrival at Bagdogra Airport and help you to board the car. Drive to Darjeeling. The journey follows the the forested hills, small villages and beautiful tea gardens. On the way you will have a chance to see the famous Toy train chugging its way on the zig-zag track. Take short break at Kurseong to see the beautiful valley covered with lush green tea garden and proceed to Darjeeling. The Queen of hills - greets you with all its grandeur: the great view of mountains and valleys dotted with tea gardens and forests, and a blend of traditional heritage and modern cultures.
We assist you to check in at hotel. Get refreshed and have free leisure evening. We recommend a relaxed evening with short walk around The Mall to enjoy the Typical Hill life of Darjeeling Town in a painted landscape. Over night stay at hotel.
Day 02: In Darjeeling 3 points + 7 Points tour
Early morning visit to TIGER HILL at 8442ft above sea level to experience the unforgettable sight of Sunrise over the snow peaks of Kunchenjungha Mountains. The summit at Tiger Hill also commands a fine view of the vast plains of North Bengal, the mountain ridges slowly descending to the plains, several courses of majore rivers of North Bengal like Tista, Mahananda and Balasan along with dense forest covers of Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary. Visit GHOOM MONASTERY - one of the oldest Monasteries in Darjeeling and also BATASIA LOOP - the picturesque garden and War Memorial with the backdrop of snow ranges - on your way back to hotel.
After breakfast We would now take you to PADMAJA NAIDU ZOOLOGICAL PARK (CLOSED ON THURSDAY) to see some rare collections of high altitude Himalayan species like Snow leopard, clouded Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Red Panda and many rare mammal and birds in the natural surroundings. Visit HIMALAYAN MOUNTAINEERING INSTITUTE (CLOSED ON THURSDAY) to see the priceless collection of mountaineering gears used by legendary climbers in the Himalayas. After that we take you to the TEA GARDEN on the undulating valleys for viewing the scenic landscape with tea plucking and processing (SEASONAL) then proceed to TENZING ROCK AND GOMBU ROCK for some fun rock climbing activities. Now we take you to the TIBETAN REFUGEE CENTER (CLOSED ON SUNDAY) to procure the traditional handicraft items made by the local people. and ROPEWAY RIDE, PEACE PAGODA AND JAPENES TEMPAL Back to Hotel. Over night stay in Darjeeling hotel.
Day 03: Darjeeling to Mirik (60kms in 2.5hrs one way)
Today after breakfast we take you to MIRIK, a small picturesque hill station at 5100ft (1761m) with a beautiful lake surrounded by forested hills on all sides with the back drop of Mt Kunchenjungha. The drive to Mirik runs through some fascinating tea gardens and pine forests. Enjoy horse ride and boating at the lake. On the way back to Darjeeling visit PASHUPATI MARKET in Nepal (need extra vehicle to enter into the market) Return to Hotel in the afternoon and have free evening. Over night at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 04: Toy Train Joy Ride from Darjeeling to Ghoom and back to Darjeeling
After breakfast go for a fascinating TOY TRAIN JOY RIDE to Ghoom - the highest station in India. The heritage toy train runs on steam locomotive and snakes its way through the zig zag trails along the road to Ghoom. It makes a round to the picturesque Batasia Loop. Spend some time in the photographing in the landscape garden with the backdrop of Kunchenjungha. The train now takes you to Ghoom Station and here you will be taken to the Museum of the station. After a while you will be taken back to Darjeeling after 1.5hrs of unforgettable journey. Timing 9 AM to 11AM.
AAfter Lunch visit ROCK GARDEN, a garden fully made out of rock. A marvel of present day architecture the rock garden is situated at a distance of about 12 kilometers away from Darjeeling town. It is a place worth a visit. Back to the hotel and have a free time for shopping at Mall.
Day 05: Darjeeling to Pelling Via - Melli - Jorthang - 130kms in 4hrs
Drive to Pelling in West Sikkim. The exciting journey runs through the winding road cutting across the valleys, hills and villages and follows the course of Tista River and then beautiful Rangit River till Legship. Take a refreshing break at the view point near Melli and watch the magnificent bird eye view of the confluence of both the rivers. From Legship the road takes a steep turn through Geyzing. The view of the entire surrounding widens as you proceed towards Pelling through the clouds and forests. Stop a while on the way to enjoy the scenic beauty and take some photographs.
Pelling - a small tourist hub in the West Sikkim hills known for serene holy lakes, old Monasteries and pristine landscape. Pelling sprawled at 6100ft (1830M) offers one of the most amazing views of Kunchenzungha Range. We assist you to check in at hotel. Free afternoon for a leisure walk along the misty track through pine forest.
Day 06: Pelling Day Local Tour
After breakfast we take you to legendary Lake at KHECHEOPALRI (25kms). The Holy Lake surrounded by dense forests is believed to have the power of wish fulfilling. Although the lake is surrounded by rich forests even a single leaf is not seen floating at the middle water. Legend has it that the birds pick up the leaves that float on the holy lake. It is also a prominent place for the bird watchers. Visit KUNCHENJUNGHA FALLS and RIMBI FALLS two magnificent perennial waterfalls on the way and TIMBI ROCK GARDEN - the must see place for tourists. Back to Pelling.
we take you to the famous and one of the most important monasteries in Sikkim- the PEMAYANGTSE MONASTERY- the seat of the Nyingma Order of Tibetan Buddhism was originally a small Lhakhang built by Lhatsun Chempo in the 17th Century. The monastery contains numerous antique idols and objects of worship and is filled with wall paintings and sculptures. The most astounding feature is a painted wooden structure of Zantho Pelri - the Heavenly Palace of Guru Rinpoche. Rabdansey was the second capital of Sikkim from1670 to 1814. Capital was destroyed by Nepalese Army now only Ruins of the palace and three queens Chortens are seen. At present Indian Archeological Department look after entire ruins.
Back to Pelling in the afternoon and have a relaxed evening watching at the Mighty Kunchenjungha from your Hotel.
Day 07: Pelling to Yuksom Via Tashiding- 436kms in 2hrs
Today we drive to Yuksom. - the first capital of Sikkim, where the first Chogyal was consecrated by three learned monks in 1642AD. The Norbugang Throne made of stone at that time still carries the evidence of that ceremony.
Yuksom situated at 5600ft (1680M) is a small village surrounded by forested hills and is a tranquil tourist destination. The place is also known for its proximity to the popular trek to Dzongri and Goechala at the base of Mt Kunchenjungha and other important peaks of Himalayas.
Check in at Hotel. After a short rest walk to the Historical Norbugang Throne and spend some time at the tiny holy Kathok Lake to offer prayer. Spend a leisure evening listening to the song of birds.
Day 08: Dubdi Monastery Trek
A fresh morning with colourful birds chirping everywhere greets you at Yuksom. After breakfast you can go for an optional trek to Dubdi Monastery, the oldest in Sikkim. A 30min trek through virgin forest takes you to the monastery on top of a hill - an ideal place for meditation in the serene environment. Back to Hotel for refreshment.
After Breakfast walk to the Historical Norbugang Throne and spend some time at the tiny holy Kathok Lake to offer prayer. Spend a leisure evening listening to the song of birds.
After Lunch we visit the famous Tashiding Monastery an important seat of Nyingmapa order built in the 18th Century. The monastery is also famous for its Holy Chorten (Stupas), which believes to wash away all the sins of the devotees. Now we come across mighty Phamrong falls as we continue our journey through the lonely rough forested road. Spend some time at the falls and take photographs and proceed to Yuksom. Over Night stay at Yuksom hotel.
Day 09: Yuksom to Ravangla
First we come down to the Rangit valley via beautiful Kewzing road and cross Rangit River over a fascinating hanging bridge. On our way Today we drive to Ravangla following the downwards road via Legship - a small market on the Rangit River Valley. Spend some time on the river side for taking some photographs. At Rangit you can also go for the rafting or boating at the Water world. Proceed to Ravangla via Kewzing road. The entire journey gives an unforgettable view of the vast valley with the majestic view of snow range beyond the horizons.
Ravangla (7000Ft, 2100M) is the sub divisional head quarter of South District of Sikkim. The refreshing journey through the beautiful valleys and small picturesque village takes away the strain of the journey. Ravangla - perched atop a ridge between two towering peak of Menam and Tendon Hill, and overlooking the vast snow ranges, is an attractive destination for the nature lovers and hikers. Check in at hotel. Free evening to enjoy the magical landscape from your hotel or stroll down to the market through the lonely road.
After lunch visit to Kheunpheling Carpet center in the Tibetan Refugee Settlement Camp just above the town. The center produce some finest traditionally designed woolen carpets and handicraft items and also visit monument of Goutam Buddha back to hotel Spend a leisure evening at the hotel premises watching at the mighty Himalayas in front of you.
Day 10: Transfer from Ravangla to Rumtek
We take you Rumtek in the eastern Sikkim. A typical countryside known for its rich cultivation on the beautiful terraced slope and serene environment Rumtek is also famous for its Monastery, the largest in Sikkim and second largest in Asia after Lasha.
We check in village resort an ideal refuge for the nature lovers looking for a refreshing break from the cityscape. The resort people greet you with traditional warm hospitality. Spend the rest of your day with the colourful birds and butterflies in the landscape garden.
Day 11: Rumtek Monastery Visit
This morning we visit Rumtek Monastery, the most important religious place of Sikkim. Built in 1960 by His Holiness the late 16th Gyalwa Karmapa it is a replica of the original Kagyurpa Monastery in Tsurphu, Tibet, the seat of His Holiness the Gyalwa Karmapa Rinpoche, head of the Karmapa sub sect of Kargyudpa order of Tibetan Buddhism. It now functions as the headquarters of the Dharma Chakra Religious Centre. Walk to the Shri Nalanda Institute for Higher Buddhist Studies just adjacent to the Monastery Building.
Day 12: ARumtek to Gangtok - 24kms in 1hrs.
Today morning we leave Rumtek and drive to Gangtok, the Capital of Sikkim.
We assist you to check in at hotel. Get refreshed and have free leisure evening. We recommend a relaxed evening with short walk around The Mall to enjoy the typical hill city life of Gangtok in the twilights.

Today after Check –in to hotel we take you to a day city tour in and around Gangtok. Visit GOVERNMENT INSTITUTE OF COTTAGE INDUSTRY (Closed on Sunday, 2nd Saturday) where beautiful souvenirs like carpets, hand carved tables (choktses), traditional handcrafts, furniture, hand looms carpets and other products are produced & exhibited for sale. VISIT ORCHID HOUSE to see or buy some rare orchids and ornamental plants. We also take you to SIKKIM RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF TIBETOLOGY, which holds world's largest collection of books and rare manuscripts on the subject of Mahayana Buddhism plus many religious works of art and incredibly finely executed silk embroidered Thangkas (paintings). Just beside the institute is the DODURL CHORTEN encircled by 108 prayer wheels built by late Trulsi Rimpoche in 1945-46. This is one of the most important and biggest stupas found in Sikkim. Day 13: Gangtok to Lachen - 130kms in 7hrs, Altitude 8900ft (2700M)
Your tour to North Sikkim starts today. Have breakfast and start for Lachen by 9.30 am to 10.30am. Visit TASHI VIEW POINT on the way for some fascinating view of the snow peaks. As the journey continues from Gangtok the route meanders through small villages flanked by fields and valleys until it hits the forest grove of KABI LANGCHUK. Shinghik comes next with its promises of one of the most glorious views of Kunchanjungha. Situated at an altitude of over 4000ft Singhik offers a desired break to the travellers for the magnificent view of Kunchenjungha. Visit CHUNGTHANG- the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu (river) and VIMNALA FALLS WATER FALLS on your way to Lachen. Reach Lachen in the afternoon. Check in at Hotel and have free evening.

Day 14: Lachen to Chopta valley and to Lachung - 175 kms in 7hrs
Today after early breakfast we proceed to Chopta Valley (30kms from Lachen) at 13200ft (3900M) for more excited journey through the alpine plateau to the virgin landscape close to Tibet border. En route we visit Thangu - the last village in North Sikkim mostly inhabited by the nomadic tribes of Tibetan Origin. Spend some time in the landscape of eternal beauty and rush back to Lachen. Lunch at Lachen.
Now we proceed to Lachung via Chunthang (46kms). Lachung - a small hamlet in the remote hill of North Sikkim at an altitude of 8600ft (2650M). Reach Lachung in the afternoon. Check in at hotel and have a free evening roaming around the village. Car service Till drop at Lachung
Day 15: Lachung to Yumthang and Back to Lachung 24kms in 1hr (One way)
Today morning at 8.30AM we take you to Yumthang - the valley of flowers at 12000ft (3600M). The journey from Lachung to Yumthang offers an unforgettable virgin landscape covered with rhododendron bushes and 108 other types of Orchids which bloom in different colours from April to May. The entire area goes under snow during November to March. The hot springs and mesmerizing scene with yaks grazing on flower - carpeted meadows on the backdrop of snow peaks are the added attractions. After Lunch roam around the little village on the bank of Lachung river - one of the sources of Tista, and enjoy the beauty of nature that surrounds you. Also visit to the small Monastery at Lachung.
Day 16: Lachung to Gangtok (124kms in 6hrs)

Day 17: Gangtok to Kalimpong Via Rongpo - 78kms in 3hrs
Today we drive to Kalimpong. The beautiful journey runs all along the emerald green Tista River snaking its way through the valleys. Cross Rongpo - the border of Sikkim and Bengal and spend some time on the way to enjoy the natural landscape. Proceed to Chitrey. Form here the road takes sharp left turn widening the view of the valleys as you climb further up towards Kalimpong.
Day 18: Kalimpong Full Day Local Tour
Today after breakfast we take you to ZANG DHOK PALRI PHODANG MONASTERY, the largest and most beautiful Monastery in Kalimpong established in 1976 by His Holiness Dalai Lama. The monastery belongs to the Yellow Hat Sect of Buddhism. Also visit DURPIN DARA VIEW POINT close to the monastery. Situated at a height of 4500ft (1380M) the place commands a beautiful panoramic view of Kunchenjungha peak and other prominent peaks of Himalayas along with the River valleys flowing below through hills and forests. Now we take you to RISHI BANKIM CHANDRA PARK, a small park with full of flowers and birds. A perfect place for relaxing. Also visit ORCHID NURSERIES in the down town to have glimpse and purchase of rare orchids. Back to Hotel and check out. Leave Kalimpong. Car service Duration: 3hrs
After light refreshment we take you to famous DELO VIEW POINT at 5500ft (1650M), the highest point of Kalimpong town having a very picturesque view of the high snow mountains and the Tista River Valley. On our way back we take you to the Historical Dr. GRAHAM'S HOMES, the house of Dr. J A Graham, one of the earliest Scottish Missionaries, who established an orphanage and a farm house in 1900. The Chapel at the house is a glorious example of old European Architecture. Back to Hotel and after a short tea break walk down to the KALIMPONG BAZAAR - popular place for shopping traditional handicraft items like hand woven woolen garments, wooden masks, Tibetan paintings and many other attractive souvenirs.
Day 19: Transfer from Kalimpong to Jaldapara
Jaldapara - a unique savanna type grassland in North Bengal-Bhutan foothills has attained a worldwide fame for its large population of Asiatic One Horned Rhino. The sanctuary holds the Maximum number of Rhino in India after Kajiranga National Park in Assam. It presently holds 115 Rhinos apart from Elephant, Bison, leopard, tiger, deer and large verity of birds and reptiles. With Hollong and Torsha rivers flowing through it the sanctuary offers a fascinating landscape.
We check in at Forest Rest House just on the border of Jaldapara forests. The resort offers cozy rooms and serves with delicious Indian food. Get refreshed and have a relaxed evening in the natural surroundings.
Day 20: Elephant Safari into Jaldapara Grassland (6 to 8 AM and 6.15 to 8.15 AM)
Today early morning we take you to an exciting elephant ride (depends upon the availability) deep into the grassland of Jaldapara. Watching the rhinos and other animals from the elephant is an unforgettable experience. Ride through the high grasses and deep forests and see the majestic animals roam freely in their natural habitat. After a memorable ride we return to the Rest house and have breakfast.
Khayerbari Tiger Rescue Center and Kunjanagar Excursion - 28 kms in 45 minutes
Today morning we take you to an attractive ride to South Khayerbari tiger rescue and rehabilitation center. We drive through the teak plantation of Khayerbari forest and reach the center by the side of a small river. The main attraction of this place apart from the natural beauty is the leopard and tigers kept in a huge cage where you can go for a ride in a battery run small car to see the animals closely. You may also go for a boating in the river. We now take you to Kunjanagar a nicely managed eco park on the fringe of Jaldapara forest. You can enjoy the view of the forest from the watch tower. Now we return to our rest house.
Evening Safari to Jaldapara Forest (3 to 5PM and 3.15 to 5.15PM)
This evening we take you to an exciting car safari into the grassland of Jaldapara Sanctuary. We drive through the typical forest trail through the sanctuary and come to a watch tower at Harindanga (deer land) inside the core of the forest. The tower set amidst the grassland offers a vast panoramic view of Jaldapara forest. There is a salt pit close to the tower where the animals regularly visit to taste salt. We would now take you to Hollong watch tower deep inside the forest and then further to Hollong grade where a group of spotted deer can be seen grazing the open land. Spend some time at the fresh natural surroundings and watch the sun slowly sinks in the horizon creating a majical vista. Back to hotel and have a leisure evening.
Day 21: Jaldapara to Siliguri via Sevok - 140kms in 3.5hrs
Today we leave Jaldapara and drive to Siliguri. Free evening at for you at your own disposal.
Day 22: Siliguri to Bagdogra airport (45 minutes drive)
