Day 01: Arrival and Reception:- At NJP Railway Station to Kalimpong Via Tista Bazaar - 70kms in 2.5hrs
We receive you on arrival at NJP Rly Station and help you to board the car. We drive to Kalimpong. The journey to Kalimpong has different characters as it first runs through the dense forests of Mahananda Sanctuary giving you an opportunity to see wild elephant and deer on the way. Stop a while at Sevok just at the base of the hills see the gorgeous view of Tista River as it comes out from the deep gorge of the Himalayas and spreads itself in the vast plains on North Bengal. Now you drive all along the beautiful emerald green River Tista Till Chitrey. Form here the road takes sharp right turn widening the view of the valleys as you climb further up towards Kalimpong.
Kalimpong - a little town and sub division head quarter at an altitude of 4100ft (1250M) in the lower Himalayas, is famous for its mild climate, scenic landscape doted with old colonial buildings, magnificent view of Kunchenjungha and rare orchids. Check in at Hotel. and after a short tea break walk down to the KALIMPONG BAZAAR - popular place for shopping traditional handicraft items like hand woven woolen garments, wooden masks, Tibetan paintings and many other attractive souvenirs.
Day 02: Kalimpong Day Local Tour
Today after breakfast we take you to ZANG DHOK PALRI PHODANG MONASTERY, the largest and most beautiful Monastery in Kalimpong established in 1976 by His Holiness Dalai Lama. The monastery belongs to the Yellow Hat Sect of Buddhism. Also visit DURPIN DARA VIEW POINT close to the monastery. Situated at a height of 4500ft (1380M) the place commands a beautiful panoramic view of Kunchenjungha peak and other prominent peaks of Himalayas along with the River valleys flowing below through hills and forests. Now we take you to RISHI BANKIM CHANDRA PARK, a small park with full of flowers and birds. A perfect place for relaxing. Also visit ORCHID NURSERIES in the down town to have glimpse and purchase of rare orchids. Back to Hotel and check out. Leave Kalimpong.
Transfer from Lava to Lataguri
A serene misty hamlet in the Kalimpong sub division Lava is situated at an altitude of 2100m, and presents a landscape with ultimate splendor of nature that can never be captured by word. The conifer forests under the worm glow of sun with colorful birds flying and singing everywhere the whole surrounding will enthrall you to a new dimension.
Lava is the gateway of Neora Valley National Park, a virgin, unexplored terrain in the Himalayas. A drive to Choudaferri inside the park through the pine clad winding road and the Sunrise spot at Tiffin Dara are worth viewing.

Day 03: Lava to Loleygaon Excursion - 24kms in 1.5hrs (One way)
We drive to Loleygaon - an important offbeat destination in Kalimpong hills. It is a small Lepcha village situated at an altitude of 1850M in the midst of undulating slopes adorned with towering Dhupi and Cypress trees. Loleygaon is the place of ethereal wilderness. Glittering Kunchendzonga at dawn or sensational sunrise and sunset from Jhandidara will leave you spellbound.
A visit to the Heritage Forest of Lolaygaon is a must to get a feel of the exquisite wealth nature has showered here. The unique 'Canopy Walk' over the century old mossy Oak and Cypress in the Heritage Forest is a thrilling experience. We spend our day at the serene environment of Loleygaon and then return to Lava in the afternoon.
Day 04: Lava to Lataguri via Gorubathan, 90kms in 3.5hrs
This morning we leave Lava and drive to Lataguri. The journey rolls down the Valley of Chel River and offers excellent view of the distant plains and hills. We hit the plains at Gorubathan a scenic village surrounded by forests and tea gardens. Now we drive through the vast plains of Dooars - a sea of greenery and freshness. We come to Chulsa an important road junction in central Dooars and take the right turn from here and drive to Lataguri through Gorumara Forests.
ALataguri used to be an important timber trading center in Dooars but now it is a very popular tourist destination for its proximity to Gorumara National park. Lataguri is the best place to explore the entire National park, which is having a very good population of one horned rhino, leopard, elephant and bison.

Day 05: Gorumara Jungle Safari 20kms in 1hr (one way)
We would take you to an exclusive car safari to Gorumara National Park from Lataguri. The journey passes through the deep forests of Gorumara - the natural habitat for Rhinoceros, Elephants, Leopard, bison and many other species of birds and reptiles. Watch out a leopard licking its paw leisurely on the tree brunch or a heard of spotted deer suddenly disappeared into the thick forests at the sound of your vehicle. Now we take you to Rhino point - a Watch Tower in the core area of the national park. From here you can get a vast panoramic view of the Gorumara grassland. There is a salt pit just at the base of the tower, where the animals regularly come to taste the salt. We also take you to the Jatraprasad Watch tower few kilometers further to Rhino Point. The forest here is deeper and the watch tower provides an excellent view of the Grassland with the Murti and Jaldhaka River flowing through it. This is an ideal place for seeing the wild elephant and Indian bison. After a thrilling excitement we come back to Resort.
Lataguri to Samsing via Chulsa - 40kms in 1.5hrs (One way) After breakfast we take a day excursion to Samsing - a cool shady place in lower Kalimpong hills known for its serenity and natural landscape. We reach Chulsa - an important road junction in Central Dooars. From here we take the left upward turn and drive through more fascinating tea gardens to reach Samsing. From Samsing you get an aerial view of roaring Murti River as it spears through the deep gorge walled by forested hills on both sides.
Suntaleykhola lays another 4kms north of Samsing and is surrounded by high forested hills on all sides with a small stream running through it. Spend some relaxed hour near the stream and watch the flocks of colourful birds around you.
From Samsing we drive towards Malbazar (6 kms from Chulsa) to have lunch and then we return to Lataguri.
Day 06: Lataguri to Bagdogra Airport via Sevok, 80kms in 2hrs.
Today we check out from hotel and return to Siliguri. Your tour with Majestic Vacation concludes with your transfer to NJP Station. We help you to board your train back home. Farewell and tour ends.
