Day 01: Bagdogra to Darjeeling

We receive you on arrival at Bagdogra Airport and help you to board the car.

Drive to Darjeeling. The journey follows the the forested hills, small villages and beautiful tea gardens. On the way you will have a chance to see the famous Toy train chugging its way on the zig-zag track. Take short break at Kurseong to see the beautiful valley covered with lush green tea garden and proceed to Darjeeling. The Queen of hills - greets you with all its grandeur: the great view of mountains and valleys dotted with tea gardens and forests, and a blend of traditional heritage and modern cultures.

We assist you to check in at hotel. Get refreshed and have free leisure evening. We recommend a relaxed evening with short walk around The Mall to enjoy the Typical Hill life of Darjeeling Town in a painted landscape. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 02: Darjeeling to Manevanjang to Tumling

Early morning after breakfast transfer Darjeeling to Manevanjang by car. The trail from Manevanjang (2134m) starts at the bazar and, as you walk down the main road, there is a steep hill in front of you with a short –cut trail to the left. Above the main road is clearly defined. Take this short-cut and immediately start climbing the hill to Chitre. The trail some time criss-crosses jeepable road to Sandakphu but it is advisable not to take the jeepable road as the distance and time will be far greater. After about one an half hour of climbing about Manevanjang you reach a clearing with the monastery of Chitry. The trail passes the monastery to the left and continue to Zig-zag up the hill in a northerly direction. About 3 hour from Manevanjang you reach Megma, where tea shop are available for food and refreshments. After proceed to Tumling, Tumling would probably take one hour of easy walk. First night halt at Tumling, over night stay at trekkers hut.

Day 03: Tumling to Kalipokhri

Early morning wake up with a bed tea, take photo with mount Kanchendzunga. After breakfast start walking for kali pokhri (2950m) the trail pass through Joubari village (which is in Nepal). The trail then drop for about 30 mins to one hr. to Gairibans w here threr are trkker’s huts . some trekkers prefer to skip Tonglu and make Gairibans the first night holt. The trail then climbs a hill for about 2 hr. through the forest and then descends to Kalipokhri which has a lake with black water and hence the name . Over night stay at Klipokhri trekkers hut.

Day 04: Kalipokhri to Sandakhphu

After breakfast we start trek to Sandakphu 06 km time takes around 5hours, through Bikeyvanjang Valley of Poison. Bikeyvanjang to sandakphu is a steep climb 4 kms. More then 3 to 4 hrs. sandakphu 3636 meters one of the spectacular view range Mount Kanchanzunga, three sister, Kumvakarna, Kabru, Gochala, Pandim, Simvo, Nirsing and Mount Everest, Louse, Makalu etc. in the foreground is a great basin set in the midst of the hills. In sandakphu slops coverd with Rododendron and Fir trees. Over night stay at trekkers hut.

Day 05: Sandakphu - Phalut

On Day 4 of Sandakphu Trek, The trail is along a ridge and can be considered as one of the most enjoyable and scenic walks in the Himalayas. The whole range of snowy peaks is always in view and the trail passes through high altitude vegetation and areas of dwarf rhododendrons and firs. The walk to Phalut (3600m) is about 07 hours. Overnight at Phalut.

Day 06: Phalut - Rammam

Sandakphu Trek continues early morning walk up to Phalut Top to view the sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast start trek to Rammam (2560m) which takes about 05 hrs. The trail passes through the villages of Gorkhey and Samanden and the forest provides ample opportunities for birding. Overnight at Rammam.

Day 07: Rammam - Rimbik

On day 6 of Sandakphu Trek, we move from Rammam, the trail descends to the bridge at Sirikhola and passes through a number of small villages to reach Rimbik (2280m), the road head. Overnight at Rimbik.
